Enterprise Vault Directory Service won't start after Upgrade to EV 12
I need a solution
Hi,
my Enterprise Vault Directory Service is not starting properly after upgrading from EV 11 to EV 12. It is in running state for a moment, then gets degraded with event 8193 "The Directory Service has stopped" and Event 40975 "unable to access the Directory Service... check that the directory service is running"
It is Windows 2012 R2 and EV Single Server.

The joy of taking over old environments.
I have 1 EV server in a domain called 1.a.com, EV 11 is installed, and running. Opening Console shows "Directory on Localhost". Server has an alias in same domain.
A new server was build called 2.b.com. An alias is made for this in 1.a.com. EV was installed on 2.b.com

my EV Server 12.0.1 on Win 2012 R2 was really calm regarding alerts, but mailbox archiving task couldn't ever run.
I always receive "Exchange Mailbox Task could not begin processing the Exchange Server" on Administrative Console.
In dtrace for archivetask I had not one really unsuccesfull tag. Maybe this:

File Blocking Rules Reuse
I need a solution
I'm setting up File Screening in EV 11. I have created several Volume policies and several File blocking rules. I need to use the same file blocking rules on different policies but it seems like you cannot reuse the file blocking rules and have to re-create them for every policy you wish to use them with! This is really frustratiung and time consuming. Am I missing somehting here?

I have an odd situation.
I have a domain(A) where we have EV 10.0.4. On the other domain(B), we are implementing EV (it's in test phase).
I have a user who got transferred from domain A to B, currently his mailbox and archive still resides in domain A.
What is the best approach to move this user completely?

Problem with Import pst on Office 365
I need a solution
Good evening.
We are migrating from Exchange 2007 on-premises to Office 365.
I imported a .pst that I had exported via the export function of EV but I have a problem.
By the web interface of office 365 we don't see the messages but only a preview: it asks me to hang on to EV.
What are we doing wrong?

Outlook Add-In Script Error

Hi,
A small number of my users get the below when launching EVS from the Outlook Add-in.
The specific users are Win7 64-bit, Outlook 2013 32-bit, latest IE11 and .net 4.6.1. I am unable to replicate on test PCs with the same setup.
Any thoughts on how to fix/troubleshoot?

Public Folder Archiving - Auto Enabler
I need a solution
We are soon to start archiving our Public Folders.
We ahve 7 divisions that each have their own set of folders under the root. In total we have about 20k folders. My question for those who have done this, did you use the "Auto Enabler" function or not? Is anyone aware of any best practice as to enabling that feature or not?
