I jave a large EV enviroment and we are wanting to check the oldest archived item and youngest archived item for the users but we have multipal vault store and each vault store represents different offices.
I was wondering is it is possible to run this sort of script but just for users in a particular vault store?

I try to export mailbox from EV to a .pst file.
It's possible to export only the "original" email and not the link?
I opened the pst file with outlook and I have a lot of link (and those didn't works................off course!).

We did an upgrade from EV 10 SP3 to EV11.0.1 CHF4 (Windows 2008R2 Datacentre). I have enabled the new search for myself. When I first click Seach Vaults in the EV ribbon (EV11 CHF4 Outlook addin, with Outlook 2013) it takes 3 mins to open, then is fine (a few secs) until the next day when is slow again. I can replicate this by recycling the EVOnlineWebSearch application p

We are running Symantec Enterprise Vault, as part of Backup Exec 2012 and are having problems starting the Enterprise Vault Storage Service. The service starts for about 20 seconds then stops again.
We get error 7064 logged in the 'Symantec Enterprise Vault' Logs

During SCOM MP10, it allow scom management team to change/fine tune monitoring severity, enable and disable SCOM MP rules. However when working with SCOM MP11, most of the rules and monitoring has been replaced with Warning severity and this has leads to SCOM alert not being fire to Service Center.
We're testing SMTP archiving in a lab environment with EV 11.0.1 and Exchange 2010 SP3.
EV is working correctly with Exchange Journal Mailbox journaling howver, when I prepare to configure SMTP journaling, I get the following error when I try to create a new SMTP Target Email Address under the "Targets" configuration in the VAC.
Ever since we upgraded from EV 10 to EV 11 we've been having issues accessing mail that has been migrated to our Amazon S3 storage. It's not everything, just certain items. The user gets prompted for credentials and of course no credentials work. I've been working with Veritas support for the last few days but I don't feel like we're getting anywhere.

Now I decided it would be nice, that the users are also able to manual archive some mails.

We are running EV 11.01 and I am trying to create a new search policy that only include the IT support group and allows them to export to pst and zip. When I go to create the policy there are no options to add a target. The target tab does not have an add option. How do I add a group or individuals to a new search policy?

I upgraded an EV environment from EV10.0.4 to EV11.0.1 a short time ago and chose to retain the older search functions rather than upgrade all the users to the new EV Search interface.
I now want to upgrade to EV 12 - can I still retain the older search interfaces or do I need to upgrade everyone to EVS first?
